YC5 in Transit – Train the Trainer Course YPAS

Based on the original YC5 model, YC5 in Transit has been further developed by Merseyside Youth Association to help parents and caregivers to support their children’s mental health, wellbeing and resilience whilst specifically transitioning from primary to secondary school.

The overall aim of YC5 in Transit is to promote resilience (resilient families, ways to cope and support):

• Understanding children and young people’s mental health
• Understanding wellbeing
• Understanding why we feel the way we do (emotions)
• Life skills problem-solving

The course is 1 day training following YC5 2 day Train the trainer.

 Delegates are required to have completed the original YC5 training before attending YC5 in Transit.
