Location
Municipal Building, Crewe
Earle St Crewe
As parents, we develop our own approaches to nurturing, caring for and developing our children as they grow from babies through to young adults. But sometimes situations arise in life – either at home or at school – that may bring some challenges for you and your child to deal with.
Being able to deal with these challenges, and helping your child manage life when it gets tough will make them stronger and improve their chances of being able to bounce back when things are stacked against them.
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, but Youth Connect 5 will teach you the skills you can then draw upon to both build your own resilience, but most importantly your child’s.
During the course you will:
- Understand young people’s mental health
- Think about what makes us thrive
- Develop family resilience
- Understand why we feel the way we do
- Develop skills to support your children.
The course will take place for five weeks, every Wednesday 10am – 12pm 7th June – 28th June, then Thursday the 6th July.
